Bush Wiretapping Is Unconstitutional Update-3

Today, the Washington Post is reporting that Judge Anna Diggs Taylor has denied the government's motion for an indefinite stay of her August 17, 2006 ruling that Bush's mass extra-judicial domestic wiretapping is unconstitutional.

The judge granted an additional seven-day stay so the government could get a stay from the appellate court. The government has filed for a stay with the appellate court.

The indefinite stay is necessary because Bush's efforts to pass legislations to legalize his unconstitutional wiretapping program has been stalled (see Misblog's "Accountability for Illegal Domestic Wiretapping") by his efforts to pass the Military Commissions Act 2006 (see Misblog's "Do We Get Alternative Leadership").
