Resetting The Global War on Terror

Our current president has sacrificed, discredited, and dishonored the institution of the presidency. His abusive persistent pursuit of a personal presidency entitles every American to hold him in disrespect and cease all deference.

The sooner his presidency is terminated the better off our great nation will be.

I urge Congress to:

  • Begin re-deploying our troops from Iraq immediately; and
  • Repeal the Authorization for Use of Military Force Against Iraq resolution; and
  • Repeal the recently enacted Military Commissions Act of 2006; and
  • Shutdown all secret torture centers; and
  • Cease all torturing; and
  • Investigate and hold accountable all torturers and authorizers of the torturer; and
  • Cease all extra-judicial domestic wiretapping and surveillance; and
  • Charge or release every Guantanamo Bay detainee; and
  • Close Guantanamo Bay; and
  • Countermand all presidential signing statements for the 43rd president.

I further urge Congress to hold hearings for the purposes of developing a congressional plan for dealing with global terrorists and terrorism. The congressional plan should have the backing of our military leadership, intelligence community, and a super majority of the American people.

The congressional plan can then be given to our next president for execution in accordance with the president’s commander in chief powers.
