Today, with the signing of the Military Commissions Act 2006 (aka "American the Torturer Act 2006" and "In Torture We Trust Act 2006") America has officially become a nation that authorizes and condones the use of torture. The president, when signing the "America the Torturer Act 2006", said:

This statement is false and we must vocally, vociferously and continuously condemn the "In Torture We Trust Act 2006" until it is repealed or declared unconstitutional.
The Military Commissions Act 2006, which became law today, is morally bankrupt.

1. At the time the CIA developed the Kubark Manual, Human Resource Exploitation Training Manual the entire CIA was known by the cryptonym KUBARK hence the name Kubark Manual. For example a secret CIA torture program could be known by the cryptonym KUTORTURE or some other KU[name of program]. This photo depicts a torture method right out of the Kubark Manual's sensory depravation and self-inflicted harm sections.
This form of torture did not originate with the "grunts" on the night shift at Abu Ghraib, notwithstanding official rhetoric. It originated at the very highest levels of our government.
Every torturer and authorizer of torture must be held fully and completely accountable for their torturous actions.
