Russ Kirk at The Memory Hole has published recently declassified and FOIA released information from The Future of Iraq Project working groups.

These are the information that the Bush administration had available before, during and after the Iraq invasion. George W. Bush, Richard B. Cheney, and Donald Rumsfeld actively chose to ignore this information. They went further, diligently ensuring many of the project's members played no part in post invasion Iraq!1

It is disturbing to realize that much of the current debacle in today's Iraq is the result of the ignorant arrogance of George W. Bush, Richard B. Cheney, and Donald Rumsfeld.

America is paying an unnecessarily heavy price, both in deaths and dollars for their ignorant arrogance. Read the The Future of Iraq Project documents and weep.

-----notes-----

1. It was more important that the post war Iraq players be politically, ideologically, and dogmatically compatible than competent.
