(Reuters, Sun Jan 7, 2007): In what can only be characterized as diplomatic extortion, Israel has leaked its plans to use low-yield nuclear weapons against Iran's nascent nuclear capabilities if the United States declines to conventionally attack Iran.

Not only must we decline Israel's attempted extortion we must make crystal clear that its use of any nuclear weapons will jeopardize all remaining American support for Israel.

Additionally, we must make it crystal clear that Israel's only feasible and sustainable alternative is to make peace, not war, with all its neighbors.
