The United States House of Representatives passes H. Con. Res. 63 disapproving of the decision of the President announced on January 10, 2007, to deploy more than 20,000 additional United States combat troops to Iraq.
The vote was 246 yes, 182 no, 6 not voting.
Hopefully, this is the first of several short steps that will end Bush's Iraq debacle.
I urge Congress to immediately follow with defunding the Iraq debacle.
