Today, Bush extends his breathtaking lawlessness with the announcement, by State Department Office of the Legal Adviser, John B. Bellinger that the United States will not honor its Extradition Treaty with Italy, TIAS No. 10837, signed 10/13/83 and entered into force 9/24/84.
Bellinger said that the United States has not yet received an Italian request for extradition of the indicted CIA officers (see Misblog's Who Will Stop The Torture Update-15). But, that the United States would not honor any such request or certificate of extraditability, if received.
