The senate finally agrees to debate legislation (Senate Joint Resolution 9) calling for an end to Bush's tragic self-inflicted Iraq debacle but NOT requiring that Bush's tragic self-inflicted Iraq debacle end.
The senate needs to stop its "slow walking", while our youngsters die fast, and immediately end Bush's tragic self-inflicted Iraq debacle.
"Slow walking" to the end of Bush's tragic self-inflicted Iraq debacle only results in more needless deaths, massive waste of domestically needed resources (e.g. to take care of the tens of thousands of mentally ill or wounded Iraq veterans), and will not change the outcome of Bush's tragic self-inflicted Iraq debacle.
Not even the legendary Clausewitz could save Bush's tragic self-inflicted debacle.
