Ending Iraq Via Veto

Today, the United States House of Representatives passed Iraq funding legislation, H.R. 1591.

Bush has threatened to veto this legislation because it sets time limits for American troops to withdraw from Iraq.

Our troops must be withdrawn immediately! However, if the only way to end the Iraq debacle is by Bush vetoes of Iraq funding - so be it.

I urge both the House and Senate to accelerate the August 2008 Iraq troop withdrawal. Congress must send Bush Iraq funding legislation immediately withdrawing our troops from Iraq - veto away Bush.

After a Bush veto I urge Congress to either override his veto or resend him Iraq funding legislation immediately withdrawing our troops from Iraq.

Not another American life or dollar for Bush's and Congress' Iraq debacle, period.

If it takes going to the barricades to stop the greenbacks for Bush's and Congress' Iraq debacle, so be it.

If it takes multiple Bush vetoes of Iraq funding legislation to stop the greenbacks for Bush's and Congress' Iraq debacle, so be it.
