The senate continues its efforts to slow-walk us out of Iraq while most Americans are yelling, "run out of Iraq".

First the senate tries to sell us on "symbolically voting" against Iraq - Americans continue yelling "run out of Iraq"! Next, the senate tries to sell us on withdrawing from Iraq "as a goal" - Americans continue yelling "run out of Iraq"!. Next, senate tell the president he needs a general to talk to the American people about Iraq since he lacks any credibility (the president appoints an “Iraq War Czar”) - Americans continue yelling "run out of Iraq"!. Next, senate begin the process of selling "benchmarks" instead of withdrawing from Iraq - Americans continue yelling "run out of Iraq"!.

How long before our slow-walking senate joins the rest of us and runs out of Iraq?

Not another American life or dollar for Bush's and Congress' Iraq debacle, period.

If it takes going to the barricades to stop the greenbacks for Bush's and Congress' Iraq debacle, so be it!

If it takes multiple Bush vetoes of Iraq funding legislation to stop the greenbacks for Bush's and Congress' Iraq debacle, so be it!
