The “worker bees” are abandoning their queens by the billions – perhaps they are seeking higher wages, profit sharing, heath care coverage, and a little respect?

Researchers are baffled by the fact that all the female “worker bees” (99% of the worker bees are female) have abandoned their queens to her fate of death.

The only skill the queen bee possesses is laying eggs – 2,500 a day. All (99%) of the worker bees are female. The male bees (1%) just screw and drop dead.

One is tempted to laugh but the bee’s behavior may presage some not so funny future events and results.
