China's Food and Drug Administration investigators are concerned that Chinese manufacturer Shanghai Hualian, who manufactured the tainted or contaminated cancer drug methotrexate¹ may have produced others, including mifepristone (aka RU-486 or abortion pill). Shanghai Hualian is the sole manufacturer of RU-486, imported into the United States.

Curiously, our FDA has not responded candidly to inquiries, obtusely citing concerns over security and anti-abortion activity²?
