Today, Kangaroo Kommission spokes puppet1 Brigadier General Thomas W. Hartmann informed the PBS News Hour audience that Kangaroo Kommission rules provide for the defendants' right to remain silent—after the defendants have been tortured. What spokes puppet Hartmann did not tell his audience2 was that it is irrelevant whether the torturee remains silent because the Kangaroo Kommission rules allow his tortured confessions and statements to be used as evidence. Additionally, the Kangaroo Kommission rules allow all hearsay3 to be used as evidence—Suzie tells the Kangaroo Kommission that General Kangaroo said that General Hartmann is a mindless military drone and the Kangaroo Kommission uses Suzie's hearsay to convict spokes puppet Hartmann of being a mindless drone.

If spokes puppet Hartmann's assertion that the Kangaroo Kommission rules are virtually identical to those used for our soldiers is true, then let's use them—scrap the Kangaroo Kommission rules and use the Uniform Code of Military Justice.

Bet you won't hear spokes puppet Hartmann say that—he'd never make it to Major General (two stars)—Suzie says General Kangaroo doesn't think spokes puppet Hartmann is that mindless!

  The charges against them list "169 overt acts allegedly committed by the defendants in furtherance of the September 11 events".

• UPDATED 05/10/2008 NYT, Judge Drops General From Trial of Detainee Dumping spokes puppet General Hartmann is certainly welcomed and necessary, but not sufficient to salvage the Bush administrations Kangaroo Kommission process.

  The entire Kangaroo Kommission process, including the Kangaroo Kommission Konvening (KKK) Authority must be scrapped and replaced with trials conduct by regular United States District Courts, using standard federal rules of evidence and procedure or regular Military Courts using the Uniform Code of Military Justice.

• UPDATED 02/21/2008 Village Voice, Nat Hentoff, Michael Mukasey and the Ghost of Alberto Gonzales: Hermann Göring got a fair trial at Nuremberg. But not Gitmo prisoners. Mukasey is not morphing into a Gonzales he always was from the Gonzales cloth—one wonders why Congress, including Senator Dianne Feinstein’s critical vote, confirmed him?

  It is interesting that Mukasey is in London calling our conduct of Kangaroo Commissions base on torture "fair", when Downey Street is trying to figure out how to acknowledge it is a torturing nation without suffering the downside.

  Air Force Colonel Morris Davis, a former Kangaroo Kommission prosecutor, may testify for the defense in the Kangaroo Kommission of detainee Hamdan.

  Calling the Kangaroo Kommission rules "fair" Davis went on to say:

  "I think the problem is having political appointees injected into the system. They are looking for a political outcome, not justice."--Air Force Colonel Morris Davis--

  There is much to respect and admire in Colonel Davis' principled pursuit of justice, but fair the Kangaroo Kommission rules are not.

  That's the thing with using Kangaroo Kommissions—they punish their users instead of those the Kangaroo Kommissions purport to punish!

• UPDATED 02/20/2008 UPI, Ex-prosecutor: Gitmo trials may be rigged. Department of Defense (DoD) General Counsel⁴, William J. Haynes II, is accused of rigging the Kangaroo Kommissions to ensure all appearing before them are not acquitted.

  Haynes directly participated in the drafting of the Jay S. Bybee, David S. Addington, John C. Yoo, Timothy E. Flanigan et al. torture memos.

  "If you study the rights, the rights are amazing that are made available to these accused, the right to remain silent,..."—Spokes puppet Hartmann—

  We have studied the Kangaroo Kommission rules and the rights are truly amazing—amazingly Kangaroo and unworthy of America!

1. Hartmann's statements and comments indicate a systematic attempt to intentionally manipulate information for the purpose of creating in the public's mind facts he knows to be false—a spokes puppet.

2. The New Hour interviewer was uncharacteristically timid and did not adequately confront Hartmann on his numerous inaccurate and shaded statements implying that the Kangaroo Kommissions are just standard military trials.

3. There are numerous other problems with the Kangaroo Kommission rules that justify classifying them and the Kangaroo Kommissions as rigged, rump, and rogue—did I mention Kangaroo.

The Kangaroo Kommission rules and Kangaroo Kommissions are insufficient for any democratic nation, much less America.

4. The current Kangaroo Kommission Konvening Authority, Susan J. Crawford, has previously held the position of DoD General Counsel.
