Our vice president is incorrect; Israel is not "entitled" to preemptively attack Iran.
America must make clear that:
- any preemptive attack of Iran by the Netanyahu government using American weaponry will violate existing agreements on offensive use of the weaponry; and
- any preemptive attack of Iran by the Netanyahu government will immediately terminate all shipments of American weaponry (defensive and offensive) to Israel; and
- any reciprocal response to a preemptive attack of Iran by the Netanyahu government will not trigger our military intervention; and
- any preemptive attack of Iran by the Netanyahu government will truncate all assistance to Israel, except humanitarian and diplomatic; and
- any preemptive attack of Iran by the Netanyahu government is not in our or Israel's interest.
