Lacking any relevant message our extreme right and their surrogates have begun relying on Fear1, Forgery, and Fraud.

It’s useful to point out that the overwhelming majority of American dissent, when it occurs is well within the circle of responsible dissent. Periodically, frustrated and over zealous groups or individuals stray into the circle of irresponsible dissent.

Unfortunately, some of our professional manufacturers of dissent (aka Washington Lobbyists and Special Interests) seem to be having trouble hitting either circle.

1. Updated 08/21/2009 Of course this word is not new to the vocabulary of our extreme right—King Bush the Idiot incorporated it into his reign. Come to think of it King Bush the Idiot incorporated all three words, taking our great nation to war in part based on information and documents that were both fraudulent and forged (who will ever forget the infamous forged uranium document(s) or fraudulent "curveball" information).

Now, former or reformed King Bush the Idiot's jester Homeland Security Chief Tom Ridge says he experienced pressure to raise the much joked about threat level indicator from yellow-elevated to orange-high (see CSM, Ridge's book raises pressure to reform color-coded 'threat alerts'; it should be noted that Ridge left King Bush the Idiot's court before it became apparent that our nation was being disserved by an idiot king.).

On a more fundamental level fear is an integral attribute of all extremists and their regimes—with fear comes bastion building and bridge deconstruction. Exactly what America and most Americans do not want for our 21st century nation.

How ironic and bemusing that our extreme right would seek to induce fear while claiming to reduce fear! How raising the alert to orange or red or blue or green makes use more or less secure isn't clear.

It's clear how raising the "threat level" would make some of our citizens fearful, especially if they were relying on King Bush the Idiot's realm for truthful transparent information.
